Have on hand cookie sheets lined with waxed paper, parchment or silicone sheets. Melt the individual colored chocolate wafers according to package instructions.
Dip the rods into the melted chocolate, twirling the rod to get full coverage: gently tap off excess chocolate. Roll the rods into your choice of decors or place larger candies on the rods (hint: when using heavier candies, let the chocolate cool slightly for better adhesion). Place the coated and candied rods on prepared cookie sheets. Let cool completely.
